Title: Ọ̀yẹ̀kú Méjì Dome

Date: 2018

Location: Ile Ife, Nigeria

In this building, called Ọ̀yẹ̀kú Méjì, I designed a structure serving as a home of sacred art, using innovative designs and materials that explore indigenous African traditions. I will post details of the building below.

It is the second of a 16-suite complex called Àkòdì Òrìṣà, focusing on sacred spaces in African art and architecture.

The name of this building, Ọ̀yẹ̀kú Méjì, refers to the second Odù Ifá. The first in the series, Ẹ̀jì Ogbè, was completed this summer.
