seed and common sire.

Joy is in curbing desire

in cherishing the lowly,

the weak, and defenseless.

Joy listens, waits,

is patient. Joy does not

trouble. Joy cares, nurtures:

joy, hidden, abides inside of you.

Bring out joy,

offer it to others.
