Trees are my favorite lovers.
They are always there for you.
People walk away.
Trees are marvelous spirits.
You can talk to the spirits in the tree.
My edited book on the work of Dotun Popoola is now out.
It looks so magnificent, like a grande Egungun performance.
The publisher says it goes for 50,000 naira per copy.
This hyper-colorful hardcover book that is larger than a royal Agbada arrived at my doorsteps for the New Year.
It is the most beautiful book I have ever seen.
Congrats to the wonderful art historians, Kunle Filani, Tolulope Sobowale, Olusegun Fajuyigbe, and Kehinde Adepegba, who contributed powerful essays to the book.

The Covid 19 era will usher in the fourth stage of the colonization of Africa.
It will be the stigmatization stage.
Pfizer just announced the discovery of a vaccine for the pandemic.
Other pharmaceutical companies will soon follow suit.
They will distribute these vaccines throughout the world.
But you already know the continent they will forget to send the vaccine to.
AFRICA.
So much to say!
Gist plenty.
