Adetola Wewe
Adetola Wewe is with me in Austin Texas.
He is here as an artist in residence in the art center/gallery that I began recently.
He is chilling here with some àsun that he brought with him from Nigeria, and one of the local beers in Austin.
The first Akodi Orisa
This is the first Akodi orisa that I constructed in 2011 in Ondo.
I had no trouble whatsoever from anybody when I built the studio-museum there.
I am therefore surprised that the one in Ile Ife, just finished in 2018, has attracted so much attention.

Yoruba culture, using the Ifa dimension, is quite visual.
I therefore designed a Yoruba writing system that is essentially visual.
